I had heard some excerpts from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and really loved them. That's why I got this CD. The performance is great, I have no complaints.

As usual the compositions are awesome. Mr. Perlman has immortalized four seasons. The Royal Philharmonic is awesome as usual. In brief I loved each and every composition (esp the Spring Allegro)

How many true, classical music lovers have not heard The Four Seasons?? Very few!!
Antonio Vivaldi's music is beautifully written and lovely to hear. [Another of his famous works is Finlandia, a piece I played in High School Orchestra.]
The CD is a wonderful rendition of both The Four Seasons, and three Violin Concertos (C, A minor, and A). Itzhak Perlman performs The Four Seasons with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and performs and directs the three Concertos with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. His playing "brings out the individuality of his artistry". So very aptly put!

This recording never gets oldSep 13, 2009
I've been the DJ at more than a couple hundred weddings. This recording has always been my first choice as seating music and always brings rave reviews. The performances are stellar and most people enjoy it from beginning to end, if time allows.
