Excellent book for the price!Jul 21, 2010 The illustrations and descriptions were easy to follow although not always easy to do. I would recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn yoga for the first time.
"Hatha Yoga Illustrated", is a great book!Jul 20, 2010 "Hatha Yoga Illustrated" is a great book because it has a great variety of yoga poses that you can select. If you have a medical condtion that may limit you from doing a certain pose the authors warns you in advance about trying to do that yoga pose. The pictures are beautiful. It has beginner and advanced yoga poses.

PleasedJun 03, 2010 Good photos, good explanations. Only problem is the binding. You have to find something to hold the pages down to view the pictures. It would be more user friendly if it had a spiral bound edge.
Best yoga book!Apr 10, 2010 If you want to learn yogo or your an old pro this is the book.
1) It has a picture index of poses so even if u dont know there names u can find it
2) It gives information about which body parts get the work out
3) Has wonderful pics of each pose and vareations

Perfect for a noviceDec 26, 2009 I'm very happy to have found this book. It has beautiful photographs with clear instructions for each pose. I am an absolute beginner, so some of the poses are much too difficult, but it has enhanced my practice greatly.
